Brussels, 04 May 2016 – At the General Assembly of ETSI, the European Telecommunication Standards Institute, SMEs stood firm against the proposal to delete an article of ETSI Rules of Procedure that concerns dispute resolution between its members, which would be particularly detrimental to them.

Brussels, 12th September 2014 – SBS – the European association representing SMEs in the standard making process at European and international level – obtained the integration of SME priorities in the adopted Guidance Note on European Standardisation 2015. SBS, alongside the other three Annex III organisations (ECOS1, ETUI2, ANEC3), presented a joint document as a contribution to the Guidance Note. This joint contribution was put forward by the four Annex III organisations during the 1st Joint Coordination meeting with the ESOs organised by the European Commission.

SBS - the European association representing SMEs in the standard making process at European and international levels – jointly organised the French Seminar on awareness raising on standardisation with APCMA 1and in collaboration with AFNOR2.
Brussels, 6th June 2014 – SBS - the European association representing SMEs in the standard making process at European and international levels – is organising its first European seminar on standardisation for SMEs in Brussels on 1st July. The event will bring together major stakeholders from the standardisation world as well as associations representing SMEs in the process.
Brussels, 13rd March 2014 – In the first weeks of March, Small Business Standards - the association representing European SMEs in the standard making process at European and international levels - set out to increase its visibility towards important actors in the European standardisation environment. Putting forward its priorities in the interest of SMEs, SBS positioned itself as the SME representative. The more SMEs are involved in standards, better is Europe’s chance of having competitive and innovative enterprises.
Brussels, 24th January 2014 – In reaction to yesterday’s presentation of the CEN- CENELEC Toolbox for Societal Stakeholders, Small Business Standards (SBS) – the newly-established association representing SMEs in the European standardisation system – welcomes this strategy of openness and involvement and pledges its contribution to it.
