At the end of 2020, SBS launched a study to identify the key areas of standardisation for European SMEs in the coming years. The aim of the study was to identify strategically important standardisation areas for SMEs. 

SBS will use the results of the study (which include specific Technical Committees that are of importance under each sector and topic) to help shape its priorities regarding areas where the SME presence in standardisation should be consolidated and/or improved in the coming years.
