Today’s conference “Standards Advance and Deepen the Single Market” in Bucharest hosted under the Romanian Presidency of the European Council, by the Romanian Ministry of Economy and ASRO, the National Standards Body, marked the official conclusion of the ‘Joint Initiative on Standardisation’ (JIS).

This initiative, in which SBS played an active role, enabled different stakeholders of the European community to share common expectations on standardisation.

A leaflet describing the JIS vision, approach, network, achievements and priorities for the coming years was published to mark the occasion.
